Christmas Cards and Gifts

I now have all my Christmas cards and gifts posted here. I wish I had time to do more calendar and tile designs, but I have focused more on the Christmas cards this year. But I do have some designs, so see the links above to check them all out. The post below still shows all the Christmas cards. Thanks!

2010 Christmas Cards

They're all here!  I've finally finished my Christmas cards for this year!  It was fun to create them... and also a lot of work.  But I am excited to have them ready for you and am all ready to take orders.

There are 2 ways you can buy my Christmas card designs. Number one, you can buy them as a digital file. These are perfect for printing on your own as a 5x7 or even to send out by email. Please be sure if you order a digital file that you have checked into where you are going to print and how much it will cost. I have found that some stores I use are changing their prices, so just make sure you know where you’re going to print. My print prices are actually competitive for cardstock cards, so you can always leave the hassle to me and buy the second way, which is to order the cards from me and you will get them delivered straight to you in the mail. If you order a digital file and have trouble printing, you can always come back and buy cards from me. I will apply your payment for the file to a card order.

If you want to place an order, just send me an email and we’ll get started (five17creations@yahoo.com). For a list of prices, please click on "2010 Christmas Card Pricing" above.  Please note that even if you know me and live by me, the shipping charge for printed card orders will still apply.  The best deal for the best quality I have found is not local, so that is the shipping charge to get the cards to you even if you live by me.  I think it still makes the best deal!

A couple of other things... You are paying for custom Christmas cards, so if you are interested in other color options, wording options, etc, just ask!  Most of the time I can make the card you are looking for.  I also will do basic photo editing (change to black and white or sepia, brighten a photo, etc) for free.  For more complex photo editing, let's talk about what you're wanting done and see what we can work out.  Also, if you see a card you really like and want a closer look than what you get here, I can email you a sample.  The photos here are intentionally posted in a low resolution.  Thanks for understanding!

Here are the card designs (they are in 2 different posts so be sure to look at both)...

Summer Challenge - Father Design

Here's the next entry I designed for a summer challenge series on a designer's blog.  The challenge was to do any page with a Father theme.  I couldn't help but use these pictures and this kit, which I recently purchased because it has some great stuff to scrap my upcoming cruise!  The kit is called "Treasures of the Deep" by mgl scraps

Super Super Excited!

I have finally finished my own family's 2009 scrapbook!  After being busy with customer books since January when I started my scrap for hire services, I got serious about finishing my own book.  Now it is done and ordered and I am excited!  I thought I would post it here so customers could look at it as a sample of my work.

Here's a preview of the book.  Click on "full screen" if you want the best way to view it.

It's Been a Little While...

...since I gave any samples of work I've been doing for customers.  This is mostly because the work I've been doing has been mostly scrapbooking, and I need to put together a slide show of new pages.  I also just finished my family book for 2009, and I will post that here soon too.  So what else have I been up to besides scrapbooks?  I had several Mother's Day orders - photo coasters and photo letter designs.  Here is one that I can share with you...

I really do like these designs, and it's not too late to order one for Father's Day!  At the sale price, this is a good deal.  Check out my etsy site (or the post below) for more info.

I've also done a couple of custom birthday invitations for some very cute kids.  How about these fun invites?

Makes me want to start planning my own kids' parties... oh wait, that's not until the end of the summer!!  Happy May everyone!
